Violence on the disputed areas of Assam and Mizoram borders have never been able to be doused by the aggressive border tribes, fighting to protect their self proclaimed land where the Mizoram Home Minister, Lalchamliana expressed that tise never ending conflict could be put to end only through Parliament’s legal intervention.
On this hope Mizoram Home Minister marked that they are ready to shun violence for peaceful process to mark end to this decades long never ending conflict chapter and prevent politicians from politicizing on the matter for polling favor.
Forty seven years now since 1972 this Mizoram and Assam border could not be settled by any state authorities till date so it will be wiser to draw the matter at the Parliament for permanent authentic settlement according to Mizoram Home Minister.
