Nagaland On Health Move Tops The List In India And Sets New Inspiration!


Sample Registration System’s (SRS) 2017 data report as published by The Register General Office, New Delhi upon IMR (Infant Mortality Rate) after entire scan in India, accounts Nagaland state to outstand with lowest rate.


Nagaland’s unpredictable change in infant death rate from "38" in 2005- 06 to "7" in 2019 is a major improvement on healthcare sector in India. In context to it the state Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare plus Food Commissioner, I Himato Zhimomi made a complimentary remark to the state’s health unit for this achievement.


Futuristic point of view Nagaland can set a new inspiration to India in curtailing infant mortality rate as still such cases are escalating high in major parts of the nation as on the next big question when breeding is the big challenge.
