Meghalaya’s 1.5 Million Mark Is The Biggest Attempt In Northeast To Say Green

Entire Northeast with rest of India had observed “World Environment Day” to counteract growing weather challenges but Meghalaya the nation’s Switzerland, attempt of 1.5 million mark of sapling plantation in the entire state was not only unique but an outstanding effort made in the country.


On this unique mark on an international day event even Meghalaya Chief Minister Conard Sangma congratulated his people and NAFFC of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Changes for being an inspiration to the entire nation and encouraging every citizen to take the matter seriously for an enduring future.


Tree is a savior of every living being by initiating partnership reflects friendliness with nature which Chief Minister Sangma brought to the highlight for a change in society to take the matter of retaining greenery on a different aspect for effective response from each citizen on this global mission of “Environment Day.”
