Arunachal Pradesh Female Initiates Bold Inspiration To Support Army On Challenging Terrain



In a never made attempt a female Medical Officer Captain Kalpana Kundu of the Indian Army has set for historic mark to support security personnel on patrol at challenging time to attend to their health at complex height of Arunachal Pradesh’s Himalayan terrain on 20th June.


It is the first attempt by a female in defense domain to accompany the army patrol party voluntarily in all inhospitable terrain for medical assistance at the Line of Actual Control that lies in the mighty terrain of Himalaya that is connected to Arunachal altitudes. The Indian Army operation is stressed to 1630 km long international border that comprises nations like China, Bhutan and Burma.
