Assam police has come out with ‘Arakshi Milan Samaroh’ concept recently In its Kahilipara base at its fourth AP Bn Headquarters to bring out the challenges of security personnel during public coordination by training them on to the grassroot levels and skill constables to be more interactive and have the ability to melt the ice to help the victim to co-operate without any inhibition.
Assam Police constable unit is highly associated with people of all level and acquainted with various ground level situation so the main focus of Assam Police department is primarily focus on this unit to play a greater role by training them to adapt in effective interactive skills for greater public approach to clear earlier misconception and outlook towards them.
According to the Director General of Assam Police, Kuladhar Saikia this is a major initiative to bring a change in police’s stereotype image and strengthen support from the public to carry out their operation against crime successfully to eliminate crime at grassroot levels.
