If not for the recent introduce of the heated issue the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016's new clause due to which Bharatiya Janta Party had received strong backlash from Assam and entire Northeast the BJP party would have been more confident in its win and has to improve strategies to field its campaign by focusing on its development process in the region which is its strongest stance.
Challenges are far ahead over the controversial Citizenship Bill, 2016 issue against the BJP government as the central has not settled the matter permanently but the senior leaders of the party affirms on its stance of win by featuring various 'developmental' schemes and its success in giving shape to new India during its campaign.
