Monsoon Flavor In Winter To Affect Tea Growers In Northeast

Monsoon flavor in winter is looming with series of rainfall in various parts of India including Northeast which is predicted to be an early call of warning to tea productivity.


Tea plants’ quality and productivity to take an early setback under chill damp weather condition of February month. West Bengal and Sikkim tea centric zones of India are likely to receive early shower of rain just like its neighboring states like Odisha and Bihar. This presiding monsoon wave in eastern zone of India is to impact Assam and rest of its adjoining states in Northeast which is not a good news for tea growers.
