It may be an annual affair to
conduct “Book Fair” in Guwahati for 32nd time but generating same
flavor for books like before in a digital domain world is a twist which the
honorb’le Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal had done while bringing
facelift to it.
Today Book Fair committee faces
lot of challenges in driving people to their stalls and engage them for hours,
musing through their books for long hours. Sonowal in his most motivating
speech said, “To play a key role in the society the present generation need to
rewind back to history to be more aware about the state facts and play as good
human to serve the nation to bring laurels to the state.
To draw the line how effective is
book in bringing best about a person CM Sonowal emphasized, “Litterateurs
dedicated towards literature to create new horizon and uplift people with share
of knowledge to build a better society,” due to which people should build their
knowledge for better living by reading more.
