Expectation is high on
Assam’s deliverance of natural gas as per Hydrocarbon Vision Document, 2030
initiative is concern where National Gas Grid including GAIL’s subcommittee will
be associated and presently the state is not able to meet the required demand
that has disturbed State Mines and Minerals Minister Pramila Rani Brahma.
Shortage of natural gas
output issue when BJP MLA Rituparna Baruah had raised during question hour session then Minister
Pramila Brahma informed that they have asked the committee of oil and gas to find
an effective way to tackle the criteria.
On to which committee has nodded to send representatives
from varied oil and gas companies to survey into the shortage scenario of the fuel
resource in Assam. Tea gardens have been affected by the shortage of gas supply
and to help them function to access required output, Minister Pramila Brahma will
initiate talk with OIL and ONGC to help meet the demands of each tea processing
units of Assam.
