Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma Braces 14 Km Distance To Enhance People Networking

 Understanding children, youth to elder citizens hardship in bracing 14 kms distance to enter the main region to meet their daily objectives, Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma finally eased their problem by launching suspension footbridges in two villages disconnected by river from central regions.


One extension of suspension footbridge was launched at Daru River connecting Ampati and another at Anangpara connecting Menggongpara within said breach of time of six months in support of Social Infrastructure Development Fund (SIDF) 2012-2013 by Union Ministry of DoNER and Border Area Development department.

 
The objective of elongated suspension footbridge in two village areas is to curb the hassle of walking up to the river and crossing it to hit the link road before connecting to the district headquarters to which development the Chief Minister expressed joy accomplishing people’s objective and promised to boost further expectation as aspired by community from the government. According Chief Minister Sangma route networking is essential in nourishing business output, education growth and boosting regional relationship.
