On the death of this ninty years old steely personality like Assam's former Lieutenant General (Retd.) Srinivas Kumar Sinha not only Assam even Jammu & Kashmir grieved.
This Governer Lt Gen Sinha who was born in 1926 made his best move to control and normalize any gritty challenging situation of Assam and Kashmir whenever threatened by insurgency to disrupt law and order of the regions.
Governor of J&K NN Vohra in condolence of Lt Gen Sinha demise in Delhi hospital stated that he always sported as a potential administrator with strong adherence to his commitment towards people.
Sinha who effortlessly distinguished himself in the service of his country whatever challenges maybe even moved Former Chief Minister and President National Conference Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah of Kashmir on his demise.
