Foreign Currency Come As A Solution For ATM Less Regions Of Assam During Demonetisation Phase

People of Assam in border Bhutan areas without even proper ATM transaction points, clever out from demonetisation fix in the nation with usage of Bhutanese currency.

Foreign notes inflow in areas adjacent to Bhutan border like Dadguri and Hatisor including many villages of Kokrajhar district came as a major relief during cashless Indian currency phase, giving a 20% lift in Bhutanese currency usage to match replacement.

Here at the Bhutan border based remote areas of Kokrajhar district people stated that they have to make a journey of 50 km to transaction points like State Bank of India office and ATM where instead of this hurdle made bet on Rs 100 loss solution as Rs 500 of Bhutanese note equivalent to Indian currency of Rs 400.
