In a mission to
give India’s ten iconic tourist destinations a shining and hygienic outlook to
position it with more friendly atmosphere a fifteen members committee will head ‘Swachh
Kamakhya Devi Temple Programme.’
This initiative which Assam Government has undertaken under the direction
of ‘Swachh Tourist Destinations’ programme for ten iconic tourist zones of India is to
give an inviting clean outline to the sacred sanctum of Kamakhya. The appointed
fifteen members committee which will supervision the work will have to
coordinate with rest of the departments involved in the development of Kamakhya temple to complete the ‘Swachh Tourist Mission’ as per to the deadline.
