Pre Maha Shuvratri Fest Overcast Guwahati, Nagaon And Sivasagar



Maha Sivratri Fest which is to be observed from 1st and 2nd March in India its pre celebration observed in Shiva centric destination like Guwahati, Nagaon and Sivsagar of Assam.

Sivasagar district as the name stands is a popular destination of various lingas positioned in its various areas where historic three century old Maha Shivratri Puja and Mela to be continued till 3rd March from tomorrow. Tourists in abundance follow in during Maha Shivratri Puja from all over India to take blessing. Hype of Shivratri in Sivasagar is as such that district administration have to declare local holiday on this day where Shivaratri Committee decors the day with all arrangements to welcome the devotees from all over India to immerse on this holy event of Shiva and Parvati’s relationship.

 Nagaon is in full preparation with all decors to welcome the Maha Sivratri Fest, inviting devotees from all over India, especially at famous new Maha Mritunjay Temple. Guawhati, Kamrup district Sri Sri Smashan Niramohia Shiv Mandir Committee organized in grand manner Maha Sivratri Fest at Nabagraha where the Rudrajajna and Maha Shiratri puja was conducted.

Manipur Third To Receive Snowfall In Northeast This Year

Brief but Manipur is the third state to receive snowfall after Meghalaya and Aurnachal Pradesh this year in Northeast at border area shared with Nagaland.

Fresh snowfall came with surprise to villages like Liyai Khullen, Mao and Liyai Khunou lying in Mountain ranges for a brief period from last night to the following morning. This year the depth of snow layer is estimated to thicker from previous snowfall.

Inflation Game To Moderate

The rising inflation rate from January with rise of index from 5.66 % in December 2021 to 6.01 % in January 2022 CPI (Consumer Price Index) estimates moderation in rate in February 2022.

CPI likely to moderate to 5.7 % from it usual inflation peak in February 2022. According to Motilal Financial Services growth is a big concern rather than inflation in India right now.

Improve connectivity to international destination the Tripura government has initiated progress work on flight connectivity by linking from Agartala base to Dhaka and Chittagong after six months where Union Ministry of Civil Aviation to invite ‘expression of interest’ from private airlines.

3.22 Cr Books To Be Dispatched Free To 62 Lakh Students In Assam

In a mega venture to boost education quality in the state ASTPPC (Assam State Textbook Production And Publication Corporation) Ltd dispatched free textbooks of about 3,22,58,564 for the academic session2022-23 under Education Minister Ranoj Pegu at Bonda, Narengi.

In the attempt to fetch free textbooks to 62 lakh students in government and provincialized schools ASTPPC to deliver books in nine mediums and 19 languages to 34 districts.

COVID Situation To Normalize But Protocols To Remain Strict

Overlooking into the matter of minimal death and infection cases due to COVID the Assam government has granted uplift of all regulations from 15th February whereas all public infrastructures and places to adhere COVID-appropriate behaviour and violaters will be penalized under criminal offence.

Mega Medical College Mission Of Assam Government Materialize To Boost State Healthcare

Launch of mega infrastructure of medical college cum hospital to serve the population of Lakhimpur district the Assam government has accomplished its mission to boost healthcare sector in the state whereas in Guwahati has undertaken foundation layout of second medical college project.

On 15th February Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched Assam’s 8th Medical College & Hospital infrastructure on an area span of 168 bighas with total investment of about 500.89  crore in North Lakhimpur. Another Mega healthcare project initiated under present BJP government is the Medical College foundation layout at both MMCH (Mahendra Mohan Choudhury campus and at Kalaphar.

ECI To Strict On Manipur Election For Fair Polling

There will be zero tolerance to misuse of ballot machine and illegal money power play directed by the Chief Election Commissioner of India (CEC) while appreciated Manipur for boosting gender participation despite the hurdles.

Sushil Chandra The Chief Election Commissioner of India (CEC) marked that ECI is committed to free, fair and inducement free polling without any bias manner from officer where voters will be empowered to report (MCC) model code of conduct through cVIGIL app.  Technology like cVIGIL an android based app is an added feature to boost ECI mission for fair polling so that unlawful campaign and MCC violation are taken into control.

COVID Shiver Dips And School Gears Up

 

Government of Assam’s move to control COVID spread is working out finally with dip in death rate and infection cases, dares to roll out school schedules from ninth to twelfth classes and prepares to normalize life by uplifting restrictions from 15th February.

 

Shivering severity of omicrom is taking into control with ten deaths and five fifty seven infection cases, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma instructed people to continue COVID appropriate behavior though the bed occupation scenario has curtailed. Emerged 'Nightingale' From Bollywood Who Evoked Northeast Rattled By Her Demise




Emerged ‘Nightingale’ from Bollywood who evoked Northeast with her bilingual songs rattled by the death of Lata Mangeshkar who breathed her last at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after rigorous battle with corona at the age of ninety two.





Hopes of her recovery was high and everyone in music industry thought of her welcome after her tedious fight with corona but the golden voice that stirred people worldwide winning prestigious awards internationally left everyone cold at 8:12 a.m.



Cremation was carried with full state honor where last rite of Lata Mangeshkar was offered by her brother Hridyanath Mangeshkar at Shivaji Park. Thousands took to 10 kms line to the cremation ground at Shivaji Nagar, raising the echo of her undying voice as Lata Mangeshkar body merged in the pyre, leaving million unforgettable memories behind. Assam’s iconic singer Parvin Sultana refreshed her essence and grace of the humble soul Lataji who gave hope to many to make singing as a career.

Assam And Meghalaya Initiates To Give Cent Percent In Border Settlement

In the mission to solve cent percent border disputes the Meghalaya and Assam Chief Ministers have initiated to submit report on the six disputed areas to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

 

Conard Sangma, Meghalaya and Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Chief Ministers understanding the scenario of land disputes have agreed to advance settlement of the rest conflicted lands under their scanner as Indian government has processed to resolve greater boundary dispute with Bangladesh. Initiatives already taken to make border dispute successful and already talks with the political parties and stakeholders are on the process by both the states authorities.
