Recent Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council's (HNLC) involvement in crude bomb attack to target media to communicate their demands of strike, bandh and message had also simultaneously warned Meghalaya government of dire consequences to which the Civil Society Women Organization intervened for peace.
As the lives of the innocents are concerned the Civil
Society Women Organization pleaded to the Meghalaya government for the security
of the common men so that the banned HNLC outfit cause no more trouble.
Outlaw HNLC who claimed blast at Laitumkhrah is threatening journalists for not releasing their demands on media. Meghalaya media under May 27, 2015 norms made by the Meghalaya High Court could not entertain any press releases from any outlaw outfit is now under pressure over the ‘tone and tenor’ of HNLC.
