It has become a common factor in social media like Whatsapp where various individuals demand for money, showcasing charity purpose, where the Assam police has publicly warned against cyber fraudster at social media.
The users of Whatsapp and Facebook have faced demands of money, asking to call up the known person. To this the Commissioner of Guwahati Police Diganta Baruah has urged not to fall for prey to such mails at any social media. Such social media fraudster observed to send fake message from a publicly known account.
Send friend request from known social media account holder to open up the mind of the targeted user at such platforms. If a user wants to make monetary transaction, then first verify the validity of the account holder by making call to the person and find out the authenticity of the demand according to Commissioner of Guwahati Police Baruah.
