Personal Care Growth Investment in Assam, Worth Rs. 1000 corer


Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) the consumer goods top giant Indian company is aiming for prospective growth in Assam, recently announced to invest Rs. 1000 corer for extension of its personal care products plant. 
 

This (FMCG) company HUL made a regulatory filing to set up its personal care (skin, hair and hygiene) product unit at Doom Dooma, Assam, estimating to commence its work by the begin of 2017. After the 2001 success of its first establishment of manufacturing unit at Doom Dooma Industrial estate this will be the consecutive inning at Upper Assam.


After 15 years support from the state government, HUL is provisioned for second launch of its consumer goods manufacturing unit, the organization’s official added, “Attracting investment in the state by offering favorable policies that encourages companies to set up manufacturing units.” Government’s aid will help HUL to advance its move fast for new set up of ancillary, logistic and warehousing divisions.
