Corona Takes Hard In Mizoram’s Heart

Corona takes on hard in Mizoram’s heart with highest upsurge of active cases in the capital city Aizwal including rest of its region with a lead of 11,911 fresh cases though the death rates are more controlled than the rest of Northeast states.

Mizoram corona death figures in 155 whereas day’s positivity takes to 8.11% where totalcount of infected cases rose 40,111.

According to the states’ present corona graph the Health Minister Dr R Lalthanliana marked it as the worst phase that the state has undergone through. It’s an alarm to the state according to the Health Minister due to the high peak in COVID infected cases.

Assam’s Rs. 13200 Crore Infrastructure Development Mission

In the mission to develop necessary infrastructures in the state a MoU pact of Rs. 13200 crore has been signed in between Assam government, NABARD and (Assam Infrastructure Authority) AIFA.

It is in the rural and semi-urban zones of Assam Rs. 13200 will be invested on RIAS (Rural Infrastructure Assistance to Sate Government) and NIDA (NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance) as per to the MoU pact. This MoU is in the attempt to give significance to academic, tourism and cold storage infrastructure development in the state.

Assam Initiate Peace With Mizoram

Today the Assam ministers Ashok Singhal and Atul Bora to initiate peace talks with the representatives of Mizoram government in Aizwal capital city of the state.

This measure has been taken to calm the tension among the border people along the boundary between the two states, the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa sarma is quite positive about this advancement in restoring peace along the line between Mizoram and Assam.

Lovlina Borgohain Olympic Boxer Dignifies India In Bronze

Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain’s Olympic semi-final show went off well in the beginning bringing hope but somewhere in the mid end her charismatic action did not take place and lost to top seed Busenaz, Surmenali from Turkey.

 

Assam boxing champ appeared cool but less aggressive and few flaws carried away her points, leaving her to 0-5 points.

We know Lovlina could have done better but Busenaz Surmenali though was short against our tall Lovlina but had winning tactics due to which she reigns as top seed boxing Champion. Lovlina dignifies India in Bronze finally in Tokyo 2020 Olympics  which is a great thing for Northeast to celebrate.

Is Covaxin A Trusted Name Against Delta Plus?

Research study of Bharat Biotech reflects that (BBV152) Covaxin counteracts best against Delta Plus (AY:1) variant of COVID-19.

The Indian Council of Medical and research’s  findings showcased BBVi52 fights well against Delta variants named as AY.1 and B.1.167.3. ICMR has so far detected  AY.1, AY.2 and AY. 3 higher version variants of Delta corona virus in Indian domain. Bharat Biotech’s study shows that Covaxin vaccine is 65.2% effective against B.617.2 delta variant.

State Electricity Workers To Pose Strike If Electricity (Amendment) Not Changed

Newly scripted Electricity (Amendment) is felt unjustified by CCOEEP (The Coordination Committee of Electricity, Employees and Pensioners) and held a meeting at the ASEB Pensioner’s Bhavan and threatened to take nationwide strike.

A state convention was organized by the CCOEEP to present a draft resolution if their demands are not granted that include scrapping of Electricity (Amendment) Bill – 2021, scrap of new pension scheme and reinstall of old pension scheme, regularization of all contractual and casual workers including employees with equal wages and profit to all.
