Newly scripted Electricity (Amendment) is felt unjustified by CCOEEP (The Coordination Committee of Electricity, Employees and Pensioners) and held a meeting at the ASEB Pensioner’s Bhavan and threatened to take nationwide strike.
A state convention was organized by the CCOEEP to present a draft resolution if their demands are not granted that include scrapping of Electricity (Amendment) Bill – 2021, scrap of new pension scheme and reinstall of old pension scheme, regularization of all contractual and casual workers including employees with equal wages and profit to all.
