Assam CM Equates Loans & Growth

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma equates loans and growth by emphasizing on noted businessman like Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani who have greater loan burden but have economic growth where Assam needs more investment in certain segments to grow.

On to a comparative note CM Himanta states Assam health in financial sector are far more better than to Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Bengal who are in debt to higher GDP ratio.

Presently Assam can take 28.6% loan and plans to take Rs. 18,000 crore this year as per against its GSDP of Rs. 3,50,00 crore. The growth of the state depends on the external money invested equivalent to loan and it is through it resources could be created retaliated to opposition’s question on huge loan borrowing.
